Shipley's Socials

Attention Shipley’s Choice Party People: We need YOU to host an event!

We are looking for neighbors to host "Shipley's Social" gatherings as an additional fundraising effort. Cornhole tournament? Poker Night? Cook-Off? Parents vs Kids Game Night? Or just a casual Friday Happy Hour…  Choose your own idea or use one of ours!

What are Shipley's Socials?

They are “sign-up” events that parents, or a group of parents, agree to host for as many people as they deem appropriate for the specific activity/party. Attendees can be adults, kids or a combination of the two. The hosts cover all expenses of the event (tax-deductible), and 100% of the funds raised by the event benefit our school! Prices range from $20 - $50+ per person/couple/family for them to "sign-up" to attend your event.

Here’s how:

1. Plan any type of party, activity or get-together for any number of adults, families or kids.

2. Recruit your friends as co-hosts – it makes hosting an event much easier, and a lot more fun!

3. Complete the Shipley's Socials Form as soon as possible to confirm your ideas and timing (choose any date within the 2022-23 school year).

4. Finalize your basic party info: how many guests, where/when, etc.

5. Confirm event with us.

6. We sell the “slots” to your party during the Shipley's Speakeasy on September 30th, 2022.   All proceeds will go to Shipley’s Choice Elementary PTA

7. Throw your party and have a blast!
