Maryland Day, celebrated annually on March 25th, commemorates the founding of the Maryland colony on March 25, 1634, honoring the landing of settlers at St. Clement’s Island. It is a day of state pride featuring historical, cultural, and educational events, including ceremonies, reenactments, and free, in-depth activities showcasing Maryland's history.
